Views From Above: A series of tapestries

With my concentration being fiber arts I create artwork by weaving, felting, sewing, and dying. My most recent artwork consists of abstract tapestries from a series titled: Views from Above.
These tapestries are a reflection of what one might see from an aerial view of the Earth. The patterns, techniques and color palette give the viewer a different perspective of a landscape. One that is not meant to be a realistic representation, but rather a train of thought that allows the viewer to apply their own experiences and ideas.
